BIRTHRIGHT is here for any girl or woman, regardless of her age, race, creed, marital or economic status, who finds herself in an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy.

BIRTHRIGHT believes it is the right of every Woman to give birth to her child in dignity and that every child has the right to be born.

BIRTHRIGHT aims to help a distressed pregnant mother feel loved, supported, accepted, worthwhile, hopeful and encouraged.

BIRTHRIGHT loves in advance every woman who calls or comes for help, falling in step beside her with empathy, helping her find her own inner strength and personal resources. She will not be coerced in any way. She will be shown that she has the strength to make her own decisions for herself and her baby.

BIRTHRIGHT is resolutely non-judgmental. Help is freely given no matter the person’s faith, and even when she has none. Circumstance of pregnancy is never an issue here. It asks not "When, nor how, nor why?" but only "What can we do for you and for your baby?"

BIRTHRIGHT has a responsibility to provide whatever practical help she needs to bring her baby to birth. Volunteers are trained to know the operative community and professional services available, whether that be medical, legal, ministerial, agencies for adoption or family confidential pregnancy testing. Housing and shelter needs can also be addressed and assistance given when needed.

BIRTHRIGHT appreciates the moral and financial support of its many friends. Donations are tax-deductible. Our services depend wholly on Volunteer fund-raisers and donations. We are entirely non-profit and non-political. Volunteers are always needed and welcomed.
